Notes: Pogues hit 'Fairytale of New York' is the all-time Christmas favourite, according to this survey. Runner-up in the list was John Lennon, Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band's hit 'Happy Xmas (War Is Over)'. The top ten did not feature any song from the last 15 years. The most recent was 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' by Mariah Carey (1994).
