Base: 123,933 votes from 147 different countries. The USA provided the most votes followed by the UK and then Germany.

Notes: Two things of note here I think: 1 - the list is heavy on the progressive / trance side of house music, 2 - the old-timers are still popular, with Coxy, Digweed, Sasha and Deep Dish all still rocking the vote over 15 years after they first made a name for themselves. Indeed, in the top 30 for 2005 there was also Paul Oakenfold (11th), Richie Hawtin (12th), Judge Jules (15th), Erick Morillo (18th), Sven Vath (23rd) and Roger Sanchez (27th). Your editors' fave, Satoshi Tomiie, came in 73rd and I last saw him at Dance Valley, Netherlands, in Summer 2005 which was a total mud-fest. Other, personal, votes would go to DJs Roy The Roach and Smokin' Jo, the latter of which I've never heard live but whose mix compilations I have heard are awesome.
