List: Top Ten UK Albums Of All Time
Date: 2004
Source: Q magazine readers poll
Base: No data on number voting
Notes: The Beatles' 'Revolver' album, second in this poll, was also second in the Observer Music Monthly magazine poll of 100 musicians and critics for the same criteria - i.e. Best British album of all time. Other albums in the Observer top ten also included in this list were: The Clash's 'London Calling' and Massive Attack's 'Blue Lines'. Interestingly the Q readers opted for The Rolling Stones' 'Beggar's Banquet' album over their 'Exile on Main Street' and 'Sticky Fingers' albums, which were both in the Observer's list.
