Notes: According to DesRosiers Automotive Consultants Inc., a total of 863,160 new passenger cars were sold in Canada in 2006. The Honda Civic was the best-selling single model with a total sales number of 70,028 units, maing it the top selling car in Canada every year since 2002, surpassing the 60,000 units-per-year mark each time. The 'passenger car' category, as measured by DesRosiers, does not include Light Trucks, which in Canada are super popular on account of the often rugged terrain and need to carry ice hockey equipment and dead moose around(!)
