Notes: According to BP's estimates there are just under 1.9 trillion barrels of proven oil reserves in the world. The Middle East has approximately 60% of the total, Venezuela, currently languishing under the elected dictatorship of blustering loon Chavez, has 6%, and Russia another 6% or so.
