Notes: The table is based on an annual top fifty list compiled by Accountancy age (see link above for full details). After double-digit growth in the 2006 and 2007 survey, the 2008 survey showed that growth rates had fallen to 5.7%, with firms surveyed earning £9.2bn in fees. The revenue threshold for entry into the top fifty list was above £10m for the first time.
