Notes: Expresso is a weekly newspaper. It was founded in 1973 by Francisco Pinto Balsemao and belongs to Impresa, a Portuguese media conglomerate which is listed on the Euronext Lisbon stock exchange. Correio da Manha (lit. Morning Mail) is owned by the Cofina group. Publico is a newspaper known as a publication of the French school, with extensive texts and few illustrations. It was founded by Sonae and is nowadays owned by the Sonae.com group. Record, O Jogo and A Bola are daily sports papers that mostly concentrate on football - 98% football, 1 % other sports and 1% babes in bikinis. O Jogo is owned by by Jornalinveste, SA, who also own Jornal de Noticias and Diario de Noticias.
