Base: 'Most popular' was measured by the number of links each blog receives from other blogs
Notes: Edelman is a public relations company and Technorati a specialist blog portal / search engine. The study also featured a 'Top 100 most influential bloggers worldwide' ranking in which the top European blog, the Italian 'Blog di Beppe Grillo' (also published in English), came in at number 28. Edelman has also released data showing that approximately 23% of population in the UK read blogs, 22% in France and 14% in Belgium.
