Notes: Just outside the top ten, and unlucky not to make the list at the time, were the Rio Colorado in Costa Rica, The New England region in the USA, Snake River close to its source at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, Turneffe Atoll in Belize and Ascension Bay in Mexico. But in the end, it was the crystal clear waters of Northern Patagonia that won their hearts as top fly fishing destination.
