Notes: The deepest cave in the world, as opposed to longest, is believed to be the Krubera (Voronja) Cave, in the West Caucasus of Georgia. The longest vertical pitch in a cave is believed to be in the Sotano del Agustin in Mexico - at 410 metres (1.345 ft).
