Notes: The biggest movers in female names were Isla, which climbed from 58th to 35th and Summer which climbed 28 places from 44th to 16th. There were distinct regional differences: In Wales, Jack was the most popular boy's name but Ruby was top of the girl's list. Megan was second, followed by Lily and Olivia. Jack beat Oliver into second place. Thomas was third, Alfie was fourth and Dylan was fifth. Jack and Olivia were the most popular names in Greater London with Oliver and Emily second and Harry and Jessica third. Grace was the most popular name in Birmingham and Ruby came top in the North West.
