List: Top Ten UK Union Fat Cats
Date: 2008/09
Source: The TaxPayers Alliance (link to pdf)
Base: All Trade Union General Secretaries and Chief Executives in the UK. Remuneration statistics are taken from the 2008-09 Annual Report of the Certification Officer.
Notes: The list is of basic salary remuneration only. It does not include benefits and performance bonuses which can add over £50,000 per year to the totals. Well known commie agitator and genuinely fat bloke Bob Crow, General Secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime
and Transport Workers earned £79,564 in salary plus benefits of £26,115, which should pay for quite a few 'Cuba Rules OK' T-shirts.
