Tendulkar (4th on this list) and Inzamam-ul-Haq (7,935 runs - just outside this top ten) are also still playing, as are Rahul Dravid, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis and Justin Langer who had all passed the 7,000 mark as we publish. Sir Donald Bradman, who had an average of 99.94, played 52 Tests for 6,996 runs.
